How Are You Doing?
Your car has many gauges to tell you about the state of your car: how hot is the engine? Does it have enough gas? Does it need more oil? How is the air pressure in each of your tires? Gauges are a great way to measure some basic, important information about one of your key assets.
But how are you doing? While our bodies don’t come with the same built-in gauges, there is a way to check some of your body’s most basic, important health information. That is why we offer reduced rate blood tests at our Early Blood Draw & Health Fair events. In a series of events taking place Saturday, January 26, through Saturday, February 23, we’ll be serving Ridgway, Olathe and Montrose with events that not only serve the people in these cities, but also provide convenient access to health gauges for many of our Friends & Family in the surrounding communities.
As of this writing, more than 2,700 people have registered for their blood draw, and hundreds more will be a walk-in at other events including our Health Fair on Saturday, February 23. Our events offer a variety of screenings, including our HealthScreen (Chemistry) & Lipid Panel, $45; Hemoglobin A1C, $35; PSA for Prostate Health, $30; Complete Blood Count, $20; Vitamin D Screening, $40; Vitamin B-12, $40; and Male Testosterone, $45.
If this is the first you’re hearing about our events, I have good news for you: it’s not too late. You can attend the MMH Health Fair on Saturday, February 23 at the Montrose Pavilion between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and receive your blood draw. No registration is required – just show up with cash or check payment (no credit cards accepted) and make sure you fast for 12 hours before arriving. Take your medications as usual. We will not bill your insurance.
